Hello everyone out there. We didn't have a grand opening so we are just gonna hit the ground running in 2021. I'm the type of crafter who just likes to create. Create what? Anything and everything. If it can be crafted, I will craft it. I have tons of unfinished projects and materials for the "I'll use it someday" projects. Most days I craft what I feel like crafting that day. Not a very productive way of thinking for someone who wants to open her own business. Late last year, I made the push and got a Glowforge. Oh boy, it opened a whole new world of crafting for me. Once again there were so many projects that I wanted to make and so many materials to "collect". My mind was racing and over 200 prints were cut in the name of "practicing" my new craft. Of course I made Christmas ornaments and gifts this past holiday season, but nothing solid for my store. I totally missed out on the holiday gift giving season. Not cool! I sat down with a friend and told her that I felt totally overwhelmed and I knew I had to focus on one craft. The only solid thing I knew was I wanted to start selling something made on the Glowforge. The next decision I had to make was which medium did I want to work with. Acrylic? Wood? Leather? All of them had so many possibilities. Once again my head was spinning with ideas. I made leather charms, wood earrings, plaques for military gifts, and ornaments made with both wood and acrylic. I could list even more. Most of my ideas are born out of finding a gift for someone. A young friend of ours is having a birthday on the 29th. So the search began. One day I was scrolling Pinterest and came across some really cute acrylic keychains. Bingo! I found it. The one project I could get excited about and run with it. After making my own personalized keychain as a "practice" for our friends birthday, I came up with the conversation hearts. They turned out so cute. I'm so excited to bring these to you. I hope you snag one up and enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them. Next on the list is round personalized acrylic keychains. Until next time, Tara
